Toast Ale

“Award-winning beer brewed with fresh surplus bread”

Did you know 44% of the bread produced in the UK is never consumed? Toast are on a mission to change that... using beer as pint-sized solution to a huge global problem.

Toast source surplus loaves from bakeries and the heel ends of loaves not used by sandwich makers. They have used 11.4 tonnes of surplus bread to brew 116,900 litres of beer - using the equivalent of a slice of surplus bread in every bottle!

All profits go the charity Feedback to end food waste.
